Excellent! So glad we rooted this place out! We needed to find a decent price place to get a "new" car inspected for purchase! We called a few places to get prices. New Concept was way more reasonable then some of the others and had way better reviews! So we took our car in their they were completely honest with us and just good genuine people! We immediately after we left decided this is our knew Auto Shop! We are going to continue to take our knew car here and even transfer or business here for our other car (which is now at Baron BMW, all they want is your money, they couldn't care less about the car.) I noticed one girl said "the lady on the phone wouldn't give me an estimate!" Well her name is Nancy, she is the majority deciding factor for us to continue coming here. She was amazing made us feel really good about our visit! It's not often you leave the auto shop spending hundreds feeling good, so that's gotta say somthing right there! This is our new place! We love all the guys (& gals) at New Concept Auto Service. LOVE this place! We have told so many people about this place. Maybe too many.... I hope we didn't make it to where we can't get in anymore. Lol Seriously though give them a try you will love them too! (If you don't then your a grumpy person, who should just go spend your money elsewhere and not bother these nice people.)

I brought in my 2003 Lancer to New Concept with electrical issues from hell. My instrument panel was acting up regularly. Gas lamp would come on with plenty of gas in tank. Meter would read empty randomly then bounce back to life, odometer was blinking, rpm and speedometer would die and bounce back to life and die again. This made it difficult to determine my speed or even if I had enough gas to make it to my destination. I was further concerned about resale in the future if nobody could get a clear reading from the dash. I shopped around all of Kansas City for someone who could fix my issue. It came down to 3 choices, pay the mitsubishi dealer an arm or leg, take apart the dash myself and mail it in to an electrical engineer and reinstall myself, or go to New Concept. New Concept handled my car repair from start to finish and went above an beyond what you would expect from a mechanic. I work hard for my money and my budget is tight. I was quoted at 400-$600 for the repair. During the repair they found 2 after market GPS boxes attached to the wire harness under the dash. New Concept not only refurbished my instrument panel, they removed the after market GPS boxes from a previous owner and replaced the whole wire harness itself to ensure no more electric issues. In the end, he only charged me $412 for all the work. Its been 2 weeks now and I have had NO ISSUES!!! I am very happy with New Concept. They may be a little pricey, but going to a less skilled mechanic will cost you MORE after trial and error. Get it done and get it done right...

On 3/17/16 I took my daughters 2006 Honda Pilot for a return visit to New Concept because the front brakes were grinding. I was a little discouraged because the car had been in over the holidays and they said the brakes were fine. When Nancy called with the damage report on the bill it was good news. The tech who worked on the car had adjusted the calipers in the initial visit and found a couple of broken bolts was the cause of the noise and we didn't need new brakes. They took responsibility and said we'll own this one and repair the bolts at no charge. I spoke to Paul the owner when I arrived and he apologied saying the tourquing of the old bolts could have caused cracks and they both sheared off. It's on us don't worry about it. And he again apologied. How many repair shops would apologize and how many would have charged me for new brakes? This is why I will go back again and again to New Concept. I've owned Hondas for years and once the warranty is out there is no better place to take your car. Honesty and integrity are something you have when nobody is looking.
